- The group was among the Top Ten in the PBSP-Citibank BID Challenge 2010 (project by CITI)
- It also won the Shell Awards for the use of indigenous materials and environment stewardship. The cash prize was used for additional capital of the group, fixed asset acquisition, and permits & licensing application.

The group partnered with Eco Ingenuity Inc.'s Jacinto and Lirio leatherette sheets production.
They are also an adopted cooperative of Manila Water, which provided financial assistance for production of water lily bags.
This women-cooperative has been providing income for members through job contracting of school uniforms and rags since 2006. WPNMPC is registered in CDA in October 14, 2008 composing of 28 members.

The group is now into production of all-purpose bags made of water hyacinth or popularly known as water lily, which is abundant in Pasig River. This is being eyed as a major line of business of the cooperative.
